Leonard

Olga Leonard obtained an MMus in Performing Arts from the University of Pretoria. Additionally, she holds a teaching licentiate, a recital licentiate, and a postgraduate teaching certificate (PGCE).

Her path crossed with the ATKV in 2011 when she was named a finalist in the ATKV-Crescendo songwriting competition. In 2018, she and co-mentor Babette Viljoen received the award for Best Music-Driven Production at Aardklop for Krog, and in 2020, they were nominated for a kykNET Fiësta for ALTEmit a capella.

She frequently performs at arts festivals (KKNK, Aardklop, US Woordfees, Grahamstown), theatres, and concert halls. She is also an accompanist, piano teacher, composer, and the music director of NGK Sonnekus in Milnerton. Olga and Babette are co-directors of BO Productions.
